Devan Nair Passes Away

Our former President, Devan Nair passed away on Dec 7. Our current President, Prime Minister as well as Senior Minister were among many Singaporens who expressed condolences over his death. What was interesting to me was not who did but who did not :)

Some things are never forgotten huh?

haha mr wang, read it just now and you're right.... not very glowing. but at least it came :)

but still no word on the state or state-assisted funeral. i guess we will see the same response as after OTC - Singapore is still evolving and its norms and practices are yet to be decided.

But he did throw one hell of a funeral for his pet dog, even though his pet dog couldn't recognise his master 8 years ago (lose your brain if you don't use it), or is it a case of 'if you die, don't die a quitter or beyond his legal jurisdiction'?
